FAQ: moving off Excel with Zoho One
Is it risky to migrate our Excel files to Zoho?
No, if the migration is well planned. Nuagix first analyzes the structure of your current data, identifies duplicates and inconsistencies, then imports everything into Zoho without you having to re-enter anything manually.
How long does a full migration take (sales, invoicing, projects, HR)?
It depends on how many departments are migrated at the same time. A single department (sales, for example) usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. A full migration across several departments typically spans 8 to 12 weeks, in stages validated with you.
Do all departments need to migrate at the same time?
No. Most of our clients start with the department where the pain is greatest — often sales or invoicing — then add the other departments gradually.
Is Zoho One more expensive than our current tools (Excel and other software)?
Excel itself is often free or already paid for through Microsoft 365, but the real cost hides in lost time, errors and add-on tools bought piecemeal. At CA$50 per user per month for the entire Zoho One suite, most of our clients see savings as soon as they use three or more apps.
Can we keep Excel for occasional uses?
